Screen Support Brackets

THE BRIEF

The client aimed to prevent accidental pushing or knocking over of their LED advertising screens by players or members of the public. The brackets were required to meet the following specifications:

• Be robust to prevent the screens from being pushed over
• Keep the screens aligned and stand vertically
• Survive player impact
• Remain outside for ten years without corroding

CHALLENGE

Twenty20 Engineering faced the primary challenge of coordinating with the external finishing supplier while ensuring the project met the customer's deadline. We utilised laser cutting and folding techniques on S275 steel sheets to craft the brackets, which were then treated with a passivated zinc plating service to achieve a bright zinc finish, enhancing corrosion resistance.

RESULT

Within three weeks, we efficiently designed, fabricated, finished, and delivered the brackets, meeting the customer's deadline with precision and reliability.
